RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS
Things don’t always go according to plan in a high-alpine environment. We understand that you might be forced to postpone, delay or cancel your visit.
Nonetheless, it is the guest’s responsibility to inform the hut of any delays, cancellations or tour changes in a timely manner.
Both written and verbal reservations are binding. A reservation is not regarded as binding until it has been confirmed by the hut. The General Terms & Conditions come into effect upon the confirmation of the reservation.
Cancellations and reservation changes (e.g. in group size) must be submitted at the latest on the day before the booked overnight stay.
ALL RESERVATION CHANGES MUST BE MADE BY TELEPHONE!
Payment is due in the case of late reservation changes, late cancellations and no-shows. In such cases, the hut is entitled to charge CHF 50.00 per person.
OBLIGATION OF IDENTIFICATION
Member rates are available only on presentation of a valid ID in accordance with the current Reciprocity List (see: Swiss Alpine Club SAC Guidelines, Article 4).
Special/preferential rates are subject to a relevant and valid form of legitimation (e.g. SAC tour guides, children and youths, SAC hut pass etc.)
Free overnight stays for mountain guides and trainee mountain guides are only available upon presentation of a valid IVBV identity card. (See: Swiss Alpine Club SAC Hut Regulations, Article 5.6.5).
PRICES AND PAYMENT
All prices are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF) and include statutory value-added tax (VAT).
Prices remain subject to change.
The hut has the right to demand a deposit.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Any written and verbal information (e.g. on route and tour conditions, avalanche and weather conditions, route information etc.) is provided with the best possible care and to the best of our hut team’s knowledge. However, the managers of the hut do not assume any liability for information given. All decisions regarding tours, routes etc. are the guest’s sole responsibility. Any liability of the hut management for damages of any kind incurred by the guest as a result of information or advice received is excluded.
