WILDSTRUBEL
From the hut via Weisshornlücke gap over the Glacier de la Plaine-Morte (appropriate glacier equipment and experience are essential!) to the foot of the Wildstrubel. From here, follow the tracks to the summit. A direct descent to Lenk is also possible via the Fluhsee.
GLETSCHERHORN
From the hut via Weisshorn and along the ridge to the Gletscherhorn. There is no signposting. A head for heights and sure-footedness are essential.
Alternative route:
In summer 2013, Kobi Schenk and Florian Bowee set up a route with 4 pitches (6a/b) in the southeast wall. The entrance is best reached via the summit – descend from the summit around 100 metres along the east ridge to the route exit (cairn). Abseil from the route to the entrance. The hut team would be happy to give you detailed information and tips.
ROHRBACHSTEIN
From the hut via Weisshornlücke gap, Rohrbachlücke gap to Rohrbachstein (visible tracks). A fixed rope is installed in the top section. Around 1 hr from the hut.
HIKES
There are a number of well-signposted hiking trails in the area around the Wildstrubel Hut. These are ideal for one-day hikes or tours from hut to hut. Please ask the hut team for advice, tips and information.
