Spring season runs from end of February until the end of April, depending on conditions.
Sommer season runs from end of June until the end of September, depending on conditions.
Outside the staffed season, the winter room can be booked online.

Current Conditions
Early Season Conditions Information
- The winter closure on the Rawil Trail between Iffigen and Stierenläger will be lifted on 25 June, in time for the start of the season.
- Due to snowmelt, it is recommended to cross the bridge near Rezligletscherseeli around midday.
- Above approximately 2,500 m, and especially at the beginning of the season, larger snowfields may still be present depending on the aspect. These snowfields can be frozen in the morning.
- Depending on the planned route, it may be advisable to carry an ice axe and/or light crampons.
- Proper glacier equipment is essential for glacier tours.
- Careful trip planning and a realistic assessment of your own abilities are essential in the mountains, even for a “hiking” tour.
